I finally saved up enough to go on a trip! It's my first time travelling to a foreign country. My friends would call me crazy, but I'm going to Egypt. I didn't want my first overseas experience to be like everyone elses'. They go somewhere where the culture shock is minimal, they can try some only-moderately-different foods and it's a completely safe, nice little holiday. I want real adventure. So, there's no motel, only a campsite and if I'm lucky I'll get to see the inside of a honest-to-god pyramid. I'm so excited.

The scenery here is beyond amazing! Words can't really describe it and I guess I'm not going to try.
Camp is interesting and there are some facinating people staying here. I'm even making friends with some of them. I went to the market today and met a bunch of locals from the village. Tomorrow I'm going down into the tomb replica here at camp. I know it's a bit touristy but the others say it's really realistic. I'm taking lots of photos. Going to turn out the light now though it might be a while before I get to sleep; it's so HOT here (well, it's the desert - duh)
